I’m so happy you are here!
If you have ever felt tired of how things are in your everyday life, struggled with how you are feeling, or annoyed with the thoughts in your own head, and wondered if it could be different, you are in the right place! Based on my own experience and the transformational power of mindfulness, I can help with all of these things. Perhaps you’ve started on the journey but realised it’s not easy or linear and would like connection or support on the path. Maybe just feeling generally stressed or anxious and would like greater wellbeing, going through a particularly rough time, or seeking big life change. You have landed in the right spot!
I have walked this path deeply, learnt a lot (often the hard way), trained under the guidance of internationally renowned teachers, built far greater levels of “OK-ness” within myself and completely turned around the way I live. I’ve moved through childhood trauma, overcome years of alcohol addiction, done the painful work on co-dependency, healed from mental breakdown and chronic insomnia. But more than that I’ve developed capacity to be with and respond to my own thoughts and emotions on a daily basis and not get swept away with the tide. You will now find me going against the grain of what society says I “should” be doing, and settling into my new home in Thailand where I continue to live and learn (and of course continue to support you online!)
I’m in no way claiming to be an expert, guru, or healer. What I am about is creating a space where we can move away from fixing ourselves, striving, needing to be perfect, or feeling it should be shiny and glossy. It’s not about bypassing our feelings or forcing something to be different than it is. Rather, t is about coming home to ourselves and our natural potential away from all of the noise. I’m focussed on building community, connection, compassion and companionship on this journey, supporting whole-heartedly in all the ways I can, on the basis of what I have learnt from specialist trainings and certifications, and on the path I have walked (and am still walking!).

Mindfulness means being in the present moment with attention and awareness, and the type of attention and awareness we have is compassionate and kind. As a simple example, if we are experiencing a negative thought we can be aware that we are having it, without letting it drive us, and let it pass. We can also be kind to ourselves about the fact we are experiencing the negative thought. One way we can strengthen our ability to be mindful is through practicing meditation. On a small scale this can help us in stressful situations every day. When we can build this up over time and deepen our understanding, it can change our whole life. It has changed mine. We can start to see everything much more clearly and from this more grounded place we can shape our lives.
As a trained Yoga Nidra Teacher and with my own experience of chronic insomnia I have found that both current medicalised and non-medicalised options for sleep support are inadequate for many people, and in a time of growing and chronic sleep challenges the need is urgent. By understanding what is underlying our sleep difficulties, and by focussing on overall rest, relaxaation and wellbeing we can start to heal our sleep – through the “less rules, more rest” approach.
